CLUELESS DM TIPS

Little help for Dice & Adventures DM's!

BASIC ABILITIES

Unsure after reading the rules? Let's use the classic TOMATO method for teaching new Players what each Ability stands for :

PHYSICAL:

  • Power: throw the tomato really far away or crush it with your fist.

  • Control: throw the tomato and hit someone right where you aimed at.

MENTAL:

  • Analysis: see the tomato is red and juicy.

  • Wisdom: know if the tomato is a fruit or a vegetable (Still hesitant myself!).

SOCIAL:

  • Empathy: offer the tomato to a stranger in such a nice and truthful way, they accept it without hesitation.

  • Cunning: ease to sell an evidently rotten tomato as fresh, for a ridiculous price!

NO DICE? NO PROBLEM

If you happen to not have any dice, don't worry, the internet has amazing digital dice rollers! My personal favourite is the Google Dice Roller. It's free, super easy to use and works great with the Dice & Adventures mechanics. Runs directly on Google search, like Google Translate, so every Player at your table can open it on their phone in a matter of seconds. Just google "google dice roller" and you're set!

(Not sponsored, I just like it!)

UNSURE? JUST ROLL A DIE!

Dice & Adventures has been designed with the idea of improvising fast! So pretty much every table in the game is a rollable table.

  • CHOOSING A PROFILE? Roll 1D6 and pick the advantage!

  • NEED A WEAPON? There's 12 Weapons per Universe. Just roll 1D12!

  • IMPROVISING A MENACE? Roll 1D6 to know its Severity and go from there...

  • WHAT SHOULD WE PLAY TONIGHT? If you have all 6 Universes, roll 1D6 and let your imagination do the rest!

I think you get my point... Roll! Roll! Roll!
